Mel’s background combines over four decades as a classical musician, conductor, opera arts administrator, university lecturer, and music historian with boundless enthusiasm for exploring Europe’s great cities, concert halls, live theatre, and cultural destinations. Always eager to share his wealth of knowledge with others, he is well equipped to lead other classical music and opera lovers to new discoveries and truly unique cultural encounters. His zeal, humour, and affability are unbounding and make him a perfect host and guide.

Christine Pastram – Tour Curator

Christine’s childhood was split between Canada and Germany, where she was introduced to the world of classical music and theatre at an early age. As a adult, she worked with a Greek cruise line sailing across the seven seas, the impetus for opening a travel agency in Calgary and helping other realize their travel dreams. Now retired, Christine is eager to share her lifelong passions for music and travel by contributing to this company’s vision of creating extraordinary opera-themed travel experiences, inspiring others to explore the world through the magic of music.
